fractional motion - silk scarves

fractional motion explores the use of a procedural algorithm, known as Perlin Noise, commonly used to generate patterns of the natural world. The results are individual and striking, representative of the elemental characteristics of liquid metals, minerals and organic formations found in rocks, presented through an infinite choice of stunning colours and textures.

The collection features a series of three editions, each with an elemental characteristic and distinctive style;
Colour Field, Serpentine and Waving at Machines.
